Weather forecast

A low-pressure system is slowly and rather unspectacularly moving from the southwest over the Alps. The foehn-like south flow, with sunny breaks north of the main Alpine ridge and light barrier effects south thereof, is slowly dissipating. On Friday, weak low-pressure influence will prevail. Despite mostly heavy cloud cover, there will be some precipitation. Temperatures will temporarily drop more significantly, and a little snow may fall below 2000m above sea level. By the weekend, the weather will improve again. The airflow over the Alps will shift back to the southwest. This will not only bring warmer temperatures again, but under weak high-pressure influence, a predominantly friendly and dry weather pattern will prevail. At the beginning of the new week, there will be little change in the predominantly friendly and slightly changeable weather pattern. The overall temperature level will continue to rise.
