26 kilometres of running water

Fishing at the Trisanna river

In front of you, the gently gurgling Trisanna which has its source in Galtür and runs all the way through the Paznaun valley. Behind you the stunning Tyrolean mountains. What more could an angler’s heart desire?

In the clear water of the Trisanna, you’ll primarily find river trouts and brook trouts. They usually weigh between 300 and 700 grams.

The Trisanna can be accessed easily and, because of its shallow depth, it can be crossed in wading boots in certain areas. Both beginners and advanced anglers get to experience pure fishing joy!
