THE WEATHER TODAY
High pressure is determining the weather conditions in large parts of Europe. Central Europe is at the center of the high-pressure system, where relatively cold but very dry air masses are still gathering. The cloudless sky will not change for now, but temperatures will sustainably rise to mild, early spring-like levels at all altitudes. This is mainly due to a wind shift to the south. On Sunday and at the beginning of next week, we will be on the edge of a low-pressure system over Italy, which will cause slightly changeable and milder weather conditions. Towards the middle of the week, strong high-pressure influence with bright sunshine will prevail once again. All signs point to a foehn-like, changeable southwestern flow in the second half of next week.
