THE WEATHER TODAY
The Alps will remain temporarily embedded in a strong southerly foehn flow during the first half of the week. This will make the weather on Tuesday and Wednesday a little more changeable for a short time, but there will be no significant weather phenomena. Precipitation is still not expected, and the generally mild temperatures are unlikely to change much with a southerly flow. The high-pressure influence will strengthen again towards Thursday. Thursday and Friday will indulge us with more sunshine. However, a strong southerly foehn will pick up again in the mountains. This southerly flow will become somewhat more changeable again towards the upcoming weekend, with clouds mixing with sunshine. Temperatures in the mountains will drop slightly, but there is still no sign of a real onset of winter.
