THE WEATHER TODAY
The influence of high pressure will weaken on Sunday, and a cold front will move across the region during the day. With mostly heavy cloud cover, the first showers will move in from the west around noon, followed by more showers in the afternoon. The snow line will be above 2,000 meters. As the new week begins, the influence of high pressure will slowly but steadily increase again. At the same time, however, significantly cooler air than recently will flow in, causing the snow line to drop below 2,000 meters. Isolated light showers are still possible into Tuesday, but there will be no significant precipitation. In addition, the sun will make a stronger appearance again. However, light morning frost is now a concern during the early morning hours. As the week progresses, temperatures will slowly begin to rise again along with the return of fair weather.
