To make the picturesque mountain landscapes accessible for all guests, we strive to make the holiday region surrounding Ischgl, Galtür, Kappl and See as disabled-friendly as possible. Feel the freedom

ISCHgl

  • The cable car operators of Ischgl seek to provide carefree holiday experiences for wheelchair users. That’s why all cable car cabins are low-floor. Plus, there are accessible toilets at the mountain station.
  • Silvretta Therme has wheelchair-friendly entrances that make the spa accessible for all relaxation-seekers.
  • The renowned cable car museum in Ischgl boasts an accessible infrastructure, allowing wheelchair users to experience the cultural treasures as well.
  • Ischgl‘s mini golf courses are popular with wheelchair users, with all lanes being accessible

 

Galtür

  • The exhibitions at Alpinarium Galtür are fully accessible. However, please note that the rooftop terrace is not wheelchair-friendly. In addition, the building is equipped with accessible toilets.
  • Galtür’s cable cars are suitable for wheelchair users. There is a special ramp for entering the cabins, and there are accessible toilets at the mountain station.
  • Sports enthusiasts love the wheelchair-friendly indoor and outdoor tennis courts of Galtür. However, please keep in mind that no tennis wheelchairs are available on site, so bring your own!

 

Kappl

  • The cable cars of Kappl are not accessible, but the staff on site is happy to help wheelchair users to get up the stairs and into the cable car cabins.
  • The tennis court in Kappl is easy to access – also for people with disabilities. What’s more, wheelchair users get a discount of 20 per cent. Please note that tennis wheelchairs are not available on site, so it’s necessary to bring your own.

 

See

  • At the cable car stations in See, the staff on site is happy to help wheelchair users with the stairs and with entering the cable car cabins. Please note: There are no accessible toilets at the mountain stations.
  • Wheelchair users can access the bathing lake in See via a short gravel path. Please note that there is no pool lift.
  • The tennis court in See is accessible, but there are no tennis wheelchairs provided on site, so visitors are kindly asked to bring their own
