Yes, there are days when your weary feet simply need a rest. On days like these, the mountain lodge taxi is an excellent option to get to the next mountain restaurant. If you’re looking for spectacular views, you can always hop on the cable car and enjoy a relaxed ride to the top.

The summer bus is another popular option. It runs every 30 minutes between the villages of the Paznaun valley. For overnight guests, the summer bus is free of charge.

Yes. We recommend the Paznaun High Route. It boasts nine stages and is a highlight for hiking enthusiasts.

Is there a hiker’s bus in the Paznaun valley that connects the different villages?

Bus number 260 runs between Landeck-Zams station and Bielerhöhe in Galtür.

Which hiking routes are particularly scenic?

Are there any mountain lodges or restaurants along the hiking routes where you can take a break?

Almost all hiking routes boast numerous great spots for a break along the way. However, there are also some routes without any mountain lodges or restaurants, for instance, the routes to Lake Madleinsee, Lake Vergrösssee and Rauher Kopf. These routes leave you with even more time to savour the breathtaking nature and exceptional views.

All these routes are located in the ski resort. This means that you can easily reach or shorten them by hopping on the cable car.

Are the hiking routes signposted?

All hiking trails in the Paznaun valley are well signposted. There are signs at the start of every route as well as along the way, pointing you in the right direction.
