THE WEATHER TODAY
A low-pressure system will dominate the weather in our area at the beginning of the week. It will also bring significantly cooler air masses than recently and provide us with more autumn-like weather conditions. On Monday, after the departure of the first bad weather front, the sky may occasionally clear up during the day. However, later in the day, the risk of rain showers will increase again. On Tuesday, the weather will remain unsettled and cool for the time being, further rain showers are to be expected, especially in the northern upslope areas. Later in the day and towards Wednesday, the weather will temporarily improve slightly, but the next cold front will approach quickly, bringing rather wet and, above all, cool weather again starting Thursday. With repeated rain showers, snow is expected for the first time this meteorological autumn, possibly falling below 2000 meters above sea level in the mountains. It could be quite wet, especially in the northern upslope areas.
