Heading up from Ischgl 3 feeder cable cars take passengers into the Silvretta ski arena - the Silvrettabahn in the west of the town, the Pardatschgratbahn and also the Fimbabahn in the east of Ischgl.

In 2011/12 the Silvrettaseilbahn AG intends to replace the mono-cable gondola constructed in 1990 which has 4-seater cabins, with a state-of-the-art continuously circulating tri-cable gondola.

A total of 31 cabins are needed to achieve the required conveyance capacity. 2/3 of the cabins will be parked in the valley station; while the other 1/3 will be parked in the mountain station.

Partial route I of the existing 4MGD Pardatschgrat will be removed.
Partial route II of the existing facilities will continue to be used for repeat journeys.
