CHEF de CUISINE (m/f/d)

For the coming winter season we would like to fill the position of kitchen manager and are looking for a committed chef. Lust has worked with creativity and passion for our house and the well-being of our guests.
  • Responsibility for ensuring smooth operations in the kitchen (organization of operational and administrative tasks)
  • Personnel responsibility, deployment planning, management, training/development, coordination and motivation of the kitchen brigade
  • Preparation and creation of meals for our half-board and day guests, as well as staff meals.
  • Creative development of new recipes, design and calculation of menus, buffets and meal plans
  • Monitoring stock levels and conducting inventory
  • Order processing and inventory management
  • Calculation and cost control
  • Responsibility for compliance with and control of HACCP guidelines
  • Participation in internal meetings
  • Good communication with all departments of the hotel
  • Support in the recruitment of new kitchen staff
  • A creative and self-motivated personality with an eye for detail and an independent, precise working style.
  • Team player with high social skills and excellent organizational talent
  • Completed vocational training as a cook and relevant experience in the kitchen
  • Several years of professional experience as head chef and sous-chef in comparable establishments and management experience of teams with at least 10 people.
  • High quality and customer focus, passion for the profession and enjoyment of high-quality food

  • Enjoyment of the creative development of the product range and cooking techniques
  • Resilience, commitment, and creativity. You handle hectic situations with the necessary composure, responsibility, and problem-solving skills.
  • Quality and service awareness
  • well-groomed appearance, good manners and a confident demeanor
  • strong communication and intercultural skills
  • Good German skills, both spoken and written. English skills are an advantage.
  • Solid IT skills (MS Office, personnel planning tools)
  • Excellent, performance-based pay above the industry average (the 13th and 14th year salaries are paid out proportionally at the end of the season)
