Vider Alp

Paznauner Taja

The restaurant offers regional and international dishes in the service area and fresh pizzas in the self-service area. The Bodenalpe mountain hotel and restaurant in Ischgl is located at an altitude of 1,848 metres and offers an idyllic break in both summer and winter. In winter, you can easily reach the hotel by cable car and head straight out onto the slopes from there. The restaurant spoils you with regional products and a mix of Tyrolean cuisine and international delicacies. After an active day, you can relax on the sun terrace or enjoy the Alpine wellness centre. Heidelberger Hütte

The Heidelberger Hütte lodge is located at 2,264 metres at the end of the gently sloping Fimba Valley and is perfect for ski tours and hikes in alpine surroundings. Surrounded by numerous 3,000 metre peaks, it offers the right tour for all requirements: whether you are a beginner ski tourer, mountaineer or snowshoe hiker in winter or a leisure hiker, family, mountain runner or mountain biker in summer. The mountain lodge is the comfortable base camp for your dream tours, both in winter and summer.

Wildpark Silvretta & Wildererhütte

The Wildererhütte is located directly on the valley footpath between Mathon and Galtür and is ideal for hikers and mountain bikers travelling along the route. With the Wildpark Silvretta bus station nearby, it is easy to reach. Enjoy regional specialities in the rustic ambience of the lodge or relax in the cosy beer garden. The menu mainly features local dishes from regional agriculture. There is a playground for children with a ground trampoline and climbing frame.

Tipp: Right next door is the wildlife park, where you can watch red deer, ibex and goats.

Friedrichshafener Hütte

The Friedrichshafener Hütte lodge in the Verwall mountains is an Alpenverein lodge on the Muttenalpe above Galtür and Ischgl, surrounded by beautiful flower meadows. It is easily accessible for families and offers an impressive view of the Verwall peaks and the Alpine panorama of the eastern 3,000 metre peaks of the Silvretta group. The route to the lodge is also popular with mountain bikers. The mountain lodge is open and staffed from mid/end June to the end of September. It offers 55 sleeping places and a winter room with 10 places. Outside opening hours, the DAV key is required for the winter room.

Darmstädter Hütte

The Darmstädter Hütte lodge is situated at 2,384 metres in an imposing high mountain cirque to the north of Ischgl. Easily accessible from St. Anton am Arlberg, it is also a worthwhile destination for experienced hikers from Ischgl. The mountain lodge can be reached in four to five hours via the Madlein Valley and the Doppelseescharte. The tranquil Madlein Valley will delight you with its sheep and the clear Madleinsee lake. From the mountain lodge, there are magnificent views of peaks such as the Küchlspitze (3,147 m) and the Saumspitze (3,039 m). A nearby climbing garden attracts adventure-seekers.

Larein Alpe

The Larein Alpe in the idyllic Lareintal valley is an insider tip for hikers and bikers, open from June to September. It is quietly located between Galtür and Ischgl and offers genuine Tyrolean Alpine flair as well as impressive views of the surrounding mountains. Away from mass tourism, pure nature and idyll await you here, without a mobile phone connection or internet. Follow the path through the unspoilt Lareintal valley and discover the old Zollhaus, the only remnant of past settlements. Enjoy regional specialities such as Paznauner Almkäse directly from the Alpe, a member of the Paznauner Almkäse gourmet region.
