Great joy in Ischgl: The Paznaun–Ischgl Tourist Board today presented RollOn Austria with a donation cheque for €11,111.
Chairwoman Marianne Hengl and her deputy, Jurij Pfauser, travelled to Ischgl especially for the ceremonial handover. The cheque was presented by Thomas Köhle, Managing Director of the Paznaun–Ischgl Tourist Board, and Anna Kurz, a member of the board of the Paznaun–Ischgl Tourist Board.
Through its public relations work, RollOn Austria gives a voice to people with disabilities. The organisation addresses issues that discriminate against people with disabilities and is committed to highlighting barriers and raising awareness of the need for greater inclusion and participation.
Culinary delights for a good cause
The funds were raised on 12 April 2026 during a special culinary event at Flimjoch, situated right on the border between Austria and Switzerland in the Silvretta Arena Ischgl ski resort. Under the motto “Indulgence becomes a good deed”, top chefs from Austria and Switzerland conjured up a culinary explosion of flavours – all working for free and in aid of a good cause. Among those taking part were Martin Sieberer with his sons, Benjamin Parth and Patrick Raaß.
A particular highlight of the event was the newly created Alpine Border Table: a table made entirely of snow, set for special guest Stefan Koubek and nine other guests. Hannah Philomena Scheiber added an artistic touch with a live painting performance on site. As part of the cheque presentation, Marianne Hengl was presented not only with the resulting artwork but also with a monochrome ski suit provided by Spyder and a white helmet from POC – both artistically painted. Isonilstrings provided musical accompaniment for the event on his violin and, together with the chefs and participants, created a special atmosphere.
The Paznaun – Ischgl Tourist Board would like to extend its warmest thanks to all guests, chefs, partners and everyone involved who made this event possible and who, together, have made a valuable contribution to RollOn Austria.
