Take the 3-S-Pardatschgratbahn A2 cable car up to Ischgl’s mountains

Speed and comfort in lofty heights

There are lots of different ways to make memories at Silvretta Arena. One of them is to hop on the 3-S-Pardatschgratbahn A2 cable car that has been taking avid skiers and snowboarders from the valley up to Ischgl’s picturesque mountain world since 2014.

The cable car’s state-of-the-art Taris cabins boast heated seats and space for up to 28 passengers. It only takes the tricable gondola lift eight minutes to cover the 1,251 vertical metres up Pardatschgrat. By the way: The “3-S” in the name refers to the cable car’s tricable design, which makes it extremely safe even in strong winds. A safe and comfortable way to get up the mountains!

The mountain station

Tradition meets modernity

The mountain station of Pardatschgratbahn cable car is located to the east of Pardorama mountain restaurant, creating a perfect blend of traditional and modern architecture.
The cable car’s unique geographical location required innovative construction methods. To prepare for potential ground subsidence, the mountain station was built to rest on several individual foundations. Using heavy-duty hydraulic lifts, these foundations can be adjusted at any time. In addition, the mountain station was anchored about 140 backwards with the help of ropes. This great technical feat ensures the stability and durability of this one-of-a-kind mountain station

The modern infrastructure section boasts a spacious ski depot, ski rental facilities and a well-equipped sports shop. The ticket counter with a sheltered waiting area is connected to the upper floor, where the cable car itself can be accessed. In 2015, the “Prenner” pedestrian underpass from the valley station to the ski bus terminal was built.
