Kopssee TURS-Selfie-Spot

At an altitude of 1,809 meters above sea level, Lake Kops impresses with its turquoise blue water surface, surrounded by picturesque mountain scenery. It was first completely dammed in 1967. Today, the reservoir is one of the region's largest technical achievements: with a catchment area of 170 square kilometers and a usable capacity of nearly 43 million cubic meters. In summer, the approximately five-kilometer circular path invites beautiful views of the lake and peaks. Accessible year-round, the viewpoint is one of the quieter photo spots in Galtür.
