Antonius Chapel in Versahl

Ischgl

Versahl (documented around 1360) is one of the oldest settlements in the Paznaun valley. The Antonius Chapel was built around 1630 as a plague chapel and enlarged in 1673. Even the baroque door lock from the 17th century is still preserved. The interior consists of the three-sided chancel (five-sided on the outside) with an individually designed lancet vault as in the Maria Schnee Chapel in Ischgl-Pasnatsch.
