Thrilling Schlager music at 2,300 metres: at the “Top of the Mountain Spring Concert”, Ben Zucker transformed the Idalp in Ischgl into an energetic open-air stage and thrilled more than 8,000 fans with an emotional show. The artist wasn’t deterred by the changeable weather – ranging from sleet to sunny spells – and went on to offer his fans a thoroughly rousing experience. Another highlight of “Spring Blanc”, which impressively continues the musical spring in the Alps.

Around 8,000 visitors created a lively atmosphere at the Idalp and made the concert another highlight of the winter season. Ben Zucker had the audience spellbound from the very first notes: with his distinctive voice, commanding stage presence and palpable passion, he transformed the Ischgl Stage into an emotionally charged concert venue.

What was particularly striking was the closeness the artist sought with his audience – not only during the show, but also in the run-up to it. Ben Zucker came across as very likeable and authentic throughout, treating his fans as equals and thus creating a personal connection that characterised the entire concert. The audience responded enthusiastically and showed their appreciation with a lively atmosphere and great euphoria.

Together with his band, the artist put on a powerful show blending pop, rock and Schlager. With his distinctive, husky voice, he lent songs such as “Was für eine geile Zeit”, “Wer sagt das?!” , “Heute nicht?!” and “Na und”, as well as tracks from his latest album “Kämpferherz”, an unmistakable depth. The varied set list thrilled the audience, whilst powerful guitar riffs, catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics lent the concert a special intensity.

Against the stunning backdrop of the Silvretta Arena, a rousing atmosphere took hold that extended far beyond the stage. Music, mountains and the audience merged into a shared experience which – carried by his distinctive, husky voice – lasted well into the afternoon, despite the changeable weather, making the “Top of the Mountain Spring Concert” an unforgettable moment in Ischgl’s events calendar.

Spring Blanc in full swing: a musical spring in Ischgl

The “Top of the Mountain Spring Concert” marks another highlight in the “Spring Blanc” series of events, bringing musical highlights and alpine lifestyle to the stage until the beginning of May.

Upcoming events include, amongst others, the “sun.downer” on 24 April featuring DJ Klangfarbe, the 36th International Spring Snow Festival with Beatrice Egli on 25 April at Alp Trida, and the legendary “Top of the Mountain Closing Concert” with Christina Aguilera on 2 May.

This means that, even in the final weeks of the winter season, Ischgl remains a hub for special experiences, combining the slopes with the stage, and demonstrates once again how winter sports, music and the alpine lifestyle blend together in a unique way. ‘Spring Blanc’ extends the winter well into May, turning the final weeks of the winter season into a time full of atmospheric moments.
