For the Ischgl season finale, the US band "The Killers" stormed the famous show stage on the Idalp at 2,311 metres above sea level on 30 April. In front of around 15,000 enthusiastic winter sports fans, the boys around frontman Brandon Flowers rocked for 1.5 hours, providing an unforgettable open-air experience with their hits and bringing a successful ski season to a close.
Bright sunshine and a concert of superlatives brought a successful ski season to a close in Ischgl: for the season finale on 30 April, the successful US group "The Killers" stormed the stage on the Idalp at the legendary Top of the Mountain Concert and thrilled 15,000 winter sports fans. With hits such as "Human", "Somebody Told Me" and "All These Things That I've Done", the four boys around frontman Brandon Flowers created an unforgettable end to the season. But it wasn't just "The Killers" who had a perfect day in spring-like temperatures: skiers took advantage of the good piste conditions in the morning to celebrate at the open-air concert from 1 pm.
The list of musicians who have performed in Ischgl in recent years reads like a who's who of the international music industry. With their Ischgl debut, the Americans followed in the footsteps of stars such as Elton John, Sting, Tina Turner, Pink, Kylie Minogue and Alicia Keys.
