Ischgl opened the 2015/16 ski season on 28 November with excellent snow conditions and an open-air concert by legendary rock band The Beach Boys
Winter is open: At this year's Top of the Mountain Opening Concert on 28 November 2015, The Beach Boys kicked off the 2015/16 ski season in front of a fantastic backdrop in the Tyrolean lifestyle metropolis of Ischgl. With plenty of "good vibrations" and feel-good songs such as "Wouldn't it be nice", they fired up the crowd of 15,000 winter sports fans.
The snowfall of the last few days has ensured a winter feeling in the valley and excellent conditions in the ski area: guests of the Alpine lifestyle metropolis were not only able to enjoy the Las Vegas-ready performance in the evening, but also strap on their skis during the day and carve their way down the slopes in fantastic snow conditions. From now until the end of April: skiing on 238 kilometres of slopes - from Austria to Switzerland.
