End of season in Ischgl: Melanie C is back on top again
Melanie C created the right atmosphere at the "Top of the Mountain Concert" on the Ischgl Idalp on 29 April to celebrate the end of the season in style. Melanie C wowed visitors to the now traditional Top of the Mountain Concert with a bombastic performance on Sunday.
The ex-"Spice Girl" Melanie C is currently making a brilliant comeback. Two years after her successful album "Beautiful Intentions" with the hit singles "Next Best Superstar" and "First Day Of My Life", the sporty and agile songwriter presented hits from her now four successful solo albums alongside a brand new single. The still snow-covered Ischgl Idalp provided the perfect backdrop.
12,000 concertgoers were thrilled by the likeable Brit and were carried away by her well-known songs. The singer herself was also more than impressed by the location: "This is the most beautiful and trendy resort, I've ever been to.". This puts her in the league of top international stars who have already performed in Ischgl: greats such as Elton John, Alanis Morissette, Sting, P!nk, Anastacia, The Pussycat Dolls and the Scissor Sisters, among others, have already performed in the lifestyle metropolis of Ischgl.
After Ischgl presents itself as usual as a mountain bike hotspot in summer with numerous new single trails and will cause a sensation with additional events, it will be interesting to see which top international act will open the 2007/2008 winter season on 1 December.
