Live experience in a class of its own: Leona Lewis, Gabriella Cilmi and Jenniffer Kae thrilled 20,000 fans in a winter wonderland at the brilliant Top of the Mountain Concert in Ischgl
This was not to be missed: Leona Lewis and Gabriella Cilmi were impressed by the breathtaking backdrop of the fairytale winter sports resort of Ischgl - and thanked their fans with an outstanding, atmospheric concert in the town centre. Jenniffer Kae completed the high-calibre line-up in Ischgl and provided the warm-up: the 21-year-old German shooting star skilfully heated up the atmosphere with her chart songs "Little White Lies" and "Do you love me" from her first album "Faithfully".
The 17-year-old Australian Gabriella Cilmi also felt right at home in Ischgl. The audience was carried away by her temperament and powerful voice within seconds and infected by her energy. In addition to her hit "Sweet about Me", she impressed with a powerful performance of the Led Zeppelin song "Whole Lotta Love".
Finally, the powerful-voiced Leona Lewis thrilled the audience in Ischgl with her top hit "Bleeding Love" and her most beautiful R&B ballads from the album "Spirit".
A world star - up close and personal
Leona Lewis, who had travelled to Ischgl accompanied by her parents, spontaneously extended her stay in Ischgl after the concert: she will stay until Wednesday for a short holiday to take snowboarding lessons and really enjoy the perfect conditions and glorious weather in the Alpine lifestyle metropolis.
Ischgl - a winter sports paradise of superlatives
Unrivalled party culture, spring sunshine and snow until the last day of the season make Ischgl probably the most popular winter sports resort in the Alps throughout the winter until the beginning of May. It's not for nothing that the village of 1,500 people is known as the ski lifestyle metropolis. 235 kilometres of pistes in the two-country ski area extending into Switzerland and state-of-the-art cable cars make skiing an absolute pleasure. One of the highlights is the eleven-kilometre descent from the Greitspitz at 2,900 metres to the valley at 1,400 metres.
