A sensational start - with perfect snow conditions - to the 2009/10 winter season in Ischgl: superstar Katy Perry melted the snow and the hearts of the 20,000 fans who had travelled from home and abroad to the concert that has just ended. With her perfect, sexy and glamorous performance, she got everyone going in the middle of the snow-covered Tyrolean mountain landscape. Since the end of the concert, Perry and her band have been making the numerous trendy bars in the ski and lifestyle metropolis of Ischgl unsafe - in the next few days it will be the Ischgl ski slopes, as the star has reserved ski passes for herself.
The shrill US singer Katy Perry took the hearts of Ischgl's countless ski and party-loving guests by storm today when she gave her only European concert on the legendary Show Stage. Songs such as "I kissed a girl" and "Hot'n Cold" have made the quirky beauty one of the world's hottest stars. Until recently, she performed these hits amidst the beautiful mountain scenery of one of Austria's best ski resorts.
Waking up in Ischgl
Katy Perry impressed with her unbelievable stage presence: even before she started her first song, her voice at its peak, the spark was ignited and the atmosphere was boiling. The artist really loves her Ischgl fans: she even went into the audience to kiss a girl in the first row - in keeping with the song "I kissed a Girl". When Perry asked her fans to sing along to hits such as "Waking up in Vegas" and "Hot'n Cold", they immediately joined in, showed impressive confidence with the lyrics and brought Ischgl to life together with the star. There was not only the best to hear, but also to see. Perry's sexy Santa Clause costume was a feast for the eyes. After an exhilarating hour-long concert, her fans set off happily into a long night of partying.
