The Top of the Mountain Easter Concert attracts thousands of spectators to Ischgl every year. On Easter Sunday, Jan Delay and his band Disko No. 1 got the Idalp stage shaking and 18,000 enthusiastic winter sports fans dancing along.
Thanks to the fresh snowfall and the altitude of almost 3,000 metres, they were also able to enjoy the best conditions on 238 kilometres of pistes. In the afternoon, it was time to loosen up the muscles and celebrate Easter Sunday with groovy rock beats. Jan Delay's hits "Wacken" and "St. Pauli" from his new album "Hammer & Michel" as well as classics such as "Klar" and "Jonny" provided the perfect soundtrack. Jan Delay himself was delighted with the unique atmosphere at the Top of the Mountain Easter Concert: "I like playing in unusual, special locations and was delighted to receive the enquiry from Ischgl."
With his open-air performance in Ischgl, Jan Delay has followed in big footsteps, as world stars such as Robbie Williams, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Pink, Kylie Minogue and Alicia Keys have already played on the legendary show stage in the centre of the ski resort.
End of the season with Thirty Seconds to Mars
Thirty Seconds to Mars will end the successful 2014/2015 winter season with an open-air concert on 2 May 2015. At the Top of the Mountain Concert at 2,300 metres above sea level, the rock band from Los Angeles will perform songs from their latest album "Love Lust Faith + Dreams", among others. The only thing that remains cold is the snow, because despite spring-like temperatures, the Alpine lifestyle metropolis still offers very good piste conditions - until 3 May. Admission to the concert is free with a valid ski pass.
