W.33 Silvretta-Bielerhöhe High-Altitude Trail

This winter hike leads through the impressive high-alpine landscape of the Silvretta, offering wide-ranging views of numerous 3,000-metre peaks and the surrounding glaciated mountains. The peaceful setting around the Silvretta reservoir makes the hike a special nature experience away from the hustle and bustle. Along the route, the Silvretta-Haus and Hotel Piz Buin directly by the lake, as well as the Madlenerhaus lodge a little further down, offer opportunities to stop for refreshments and warm up.

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Galtür Wirl/Birkhahnbahn
