Trisanna river: a fisherman’s paradise

Catch river trout and brook trout

The Trisanna river has its source in Galtür and runs through the entire Paznaun valley, covering a total distance of 26 kilometres along the way. The clear river water is mainly home to brown trout and brook trout with a weight between 300 to 700 grams.

Large sections of the Trisanna river are easy to access and so shallow that they can partly be crossed in wading boots, making it suitable for fishermen of all skill levels.
