Pure pow(d)er at the end of the season in Ischgl: pop brat Pink heats things up at the Top of the Mountain Concert 2006 on the Idalp
There is no rosier way to celebrate the end of the 2005/2006 winter season: superstar Pink will melt the snow on the Idalp open-air stage in Ischgl on 30 April 2006. As the top act of the already legendary Top of the Mountain Concert, the Grammy winner will be heating up her fans and spectators with a journey through five years of pop hit history. The live performance by the 26-year-old from Philadelphia guarantees goosebumps, as does the unique setting at an altitude of 2,311 metres in the middle of the Silvretta Arena ski area. The stage is open from 1 p.m. and - as always - admission to the mega-spectacle is also free in 2006.
With her guest appearance in Ischgl on 30 April 2006, Pink joins the illustrious ranks of such big names of the international music circus as Sir Elton John, Peter Gabriel and Rod Stewart. And anyone who was there last year when power woman Alanis Morissette put the international pop crown on the Top of the Mountain Concert will certainly want to be there again in 2006 on the snow-covered Idalp.
Pink became a superstar overnight with the remake of "Lady Marmelade". As the fourth in the group, she won her first Grammy together with Christina Aguilera, Lil'Kim and Mya, landed her first No. 1 hit and remained a welcome permanent guest in the charts with "Missundaztood". Pink received an MTV Europe Music Award for "Get The Party Started" in the "Best Song" category and was celebrated as "Best International Female" at the 2003 Brit Awards. The end of this success story is nowhere near in sight: it will be just as hot on the Idalp - at the latest with the sounds of "Get The Party Started".
