Summer sounds at Easter in the snow
At the Top of the Mountain Easter Concert on 13 April 2009, Marquess will bring a South American summer atmosphere to Ischgl - right in the middle of the ski resort on the Idalp open-air stage at 2,300 metres above sea level
Easter will be a "summery" celebration in Ischgl this year: at the legendary Top of the Mountain Easter Concert on Easter Monday, 13 April 2009, the chart-toppers "Marquess" will provide an incomparably South American concert event with hot rhythms. From around 2 pm, the band will be performing their summer hits such as "Vayamos compañeros" and "El Temperamento" on the Idalp open-air stage in the middle of the ski area. Particularly attractive: as always, admission to the concert is free with a valid lift ticket.
Two top events in the Silvretta Arena
For the first time, the Top of the Mountain Easter Concert will take place together with the Warsteiner Snowshow Finale. After the Warsteiner Snowshow award ceremony, Marquess will guarantee a catchy tune and a great atmosphere for the more than 20,000 expected fans. The stage in the Silvretta Arena has been considered "the place to be" in the rock and pop industry for more than 10 years for good reason: stars such as Rod Stewart, Sting, Tina Turner and Elton John were impressed by the concerts on the stage with its unrivalled mountain backdrop. This applies to all music-crazy ski and snowboard freaks anyway. Like no other ski resort in the Alps, Ischgl combines concert events on an international scale with a perfect ski area: 235 kilometres of pistes all the way to Samnaun in Switzerland offer ideal conditions for unlimited skiing fun until 3 May 2009.
