Rock lady Gianna Nannini with new album live in Ischgl on 4 April
Gianna Nannini has held a special position in the Italian music scene for many years as a "rock lady". After a three-year break, "Giannissima" is not back any quieter, but all the more warmly.
"Grater voice" heats things up at an altitude of 2,311 metres
She has chosen a special location for the presentation of her latest album "Cuore". Where international pop greats such as Elton John, Diana Ross, Tina Turner and last year's Jon Bon Jovi have shaken the mountains together with their fans, the Italian bundle of temperament will open her musical heart to the fans of Ischgl: On the 2,311 metre high stage of the Ischgl Idalp with the unique backdrop of the Silvretta mountains, she will perform the strengths of her creative period in an advance live premiere of the current tour.
The other voice of Italy
She is a rebellious provocateur, melodious and experimental rock musician all at the same time. On her new album "Cuore", Italy's most prominent voice combines the youthful power of her beginnings with the refreshing hit quality of the 80s and the environmental awareness of recent years. What is outstanding about "Cuore" is its captivating naturalness. Where better to express this irresistible naturalness than on the impressive natural stage in Ischgl?
Her new songs go straight to the heart: Bacio Fondente is a song about budding love, Un Giorno Disumano is about love coming to an end, Come Sei tells of ardent passion, Stellicidio of cooling passion, Dimmi Dimmelo expresses naked desire, Ti Spezzo Il Cuore harsh rejection, Sola pure incomprehension between the sexes and Peccato Originale tells of being alone as a couple. "I don't orientate myself according to what people expect of me, because that always changes anyway. I have asserted myself and been allowed to find myself", strong words from an artist who has lost none of her power over the course of her remarkable career. Combined with the dynamism of the Tyrolean winter sports mecca of Ischgl, the Easter weekend promises to go down as another highlight in the "musical annals" of the Alps, and Ischgl has already made history in this respect: Famous not least among snow-hungry guests, thanks to its impressive ski arena with its 200 km of perfectly groomed pistes on which sporting and musical superstars provide non-plus-ultra spectacles for a unique and unforgettable holiday experience.
