A lively trail with jumps, banks and bridges with plenty of fun for seasoned downhill and endurance bikers. This very long and challenging trail has everything downhill biker need: routes perfectly adapted to the terrain and dotted with obstacles such as drops, bridges and banks. But there are high-speed sections too. The first section follows a fairly steep stretch across rocky terrain. Drops and bridges provide plenty of biking fun from the Velillbahn mountain station. From endurance bikers to downhill aficionados, there is something for everyone here. Once at the Obern Velillalpe, you have to decide whether you want to continue along the steep trail along the Velillbach or speed down the gravel road (along the Samnaun Loop, page 24). The last few kilometres follow a gravel trail. The difficult rating relates to the hardest sections, but these can be bypassed along easy stretches. Then the rating sinks to S3.
