Magical art in the Silvretta Arena 

10. – 15.01.2027

2027 promises to be a magical year at “Formen in Weiß” in Ischgl: under the theme “Harry Potter™ – LEGO® & HBO Max”, international artists will be creating works inspired by what is arguably the world’s most famous wizarding world. With plenty of creativity and craftsmanship, ten extraordinary snow sculptures will be created – five inspired by LEGO® Harry Potter™ and five by the upcoming HBO Original series “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, which premieres this Christmas on HBO Max.

From 16 January 2027, visitors will be able to view the completed sculptures whilst on skis or a snowboard via the Flimjochbahn or the Idjochbahn.

Motto 2027: Harry Potter™ – LEGO® & HBO Max

The 2027 Sculpture Festival in Ischgl is entirely dedicated to ‘Harry Potter™’ – a magical fusion of the world of the famous wizard-in-training and impressive snow art. On display are extraordinary sculptures inspired by well-known characters, scenes and elements from the world of Harry Potter™ – LEGO® & HBO Max.

The sculptures focus on:

  • Magical motifs: familiar elements from the world of Harry Potter™ – LEGO® & HBO Max
  • Highly detailed design: Characters and scenes are brought to life with great precision and craftsmanship

More details about the event

  • When: Construction of the snow sculptures: 10 – 15 January 2027 (Depending on the weather, the figures may also be on display for longer)
  • Where: "Viderböden", Idalp Ischgl
  • Costs: You can access the exhibition with a valid ski pass (only on skis or a snowboard; pedestrians are not permitted on the slopes)
  • Motto for 2027: Harry Potter™ – LEGO® & HBO Max

On 15 January 2027 at 12:00 noon -> followed by the jury evaluation.

The sculptures are easily accessible via the Flimjochbahn and the Idjochbahn . 

Please note: The sculptures can only be accessed on skis or a snowboard, as walking on the slopes is not permitted.

The best lighting conditions for photos are in the afternoon.
