Regional specialities, traditional crafts and authentic Tyrolean customs meet musical highlights and moments of indulgence – at the 16th Paznaun Market Day, Ischgl becomes a festival venue for all the senses.

ISCHGL. Over 800 mountain bikers from 26 countries turned up for the 30th anniversary edition of the Ischgl Ironbike, making for an impressive turnout. In one of Europe's toughest mountain bike marathon races, Austrian Hermann Pernsteiner and Italian Claudia Peretti won the extreme distance on Saturday, repeating their successes from last year. Hermann Pernsteiner and Clara Sommer also secured the Austrian championship titles at the event.

The legendary cult mountain bike race celebrates its 30th anniversary this weekend with a two-day bike event. The programme includes the Ischgl Ironbike Marathon over four distances on Saturday, 9 August. The Short Track Race and the Kids & Juniors Trophy will take place on Friday afternoon, with a total of over 40,000 euros in prize money up for grabs. What began in the 1990s as a small but ambitious race has developed over three decades into one of the toughest and best-known mountain bike marathons in Europe.

The weather gods were kind to more than 1000 participants who took part in the 2nd edition of the Paznaun Ischgl Ultra Trail on Saturday. There was a choice of distances over 100, 85, 50, 30, 20 and 10 kilometres and up to 6,300 metres in altitude. The routes led through the centre of the stunning mountain landscape on the Paznaun High Trail.

Next Saturday, part of the trail running scene will meet for the 2nd edition of the Paznaun Ischgl Ultra Trails (PIUT). More than 1,000 participants ensure a remarkable starting field and top sporting performances on alpine terrain.

One day, four routes and countless impressions: On 23 August 2025, Galtür invites you to the 52nd Silvretta Ferwall March - a hiking event that combines exercise, nature and community in a unique way. The focus is not on competition, but on the shared experience in the Alpine landscape.

Just like in the old days - only today: in Kappl, old crafts are coming to life. On five Tuesdays between 22 July and 2 September 2025, the Kappl Young Farmers' Association/Country Youth invites you to the village square to bring long-forgotten things back to life. Music, crafts and traditional delicacies revive a world that is deeply rooted in the Tyrolean mountains.

On 5 July 2025, the official summer opening will take place at Badesee See. The start of the warm season will be celebrated with a varied programme and a live performance by the band ZWIRN. Admission to the concert is free.

Stuttgart/Ischgl, 12 June 2025 - The Ischgl Trophy will create a new sports and lifestyle brand from December 2025. From 11 to 13 December 2025, the VIP exhibition tennis tournament will take place for the first time at the Tennis Center Ischgl. Both current and former tennis pros such as Tommy Haas, Mischa Zverev, Dominic Thiem and Fabio Fognini will serve at the short tournament with a competitive character in the ATP off-season with prize money of 100,000 euros as well as seating for 1,200 guests and a live broadcast via TV and streaming. A total of six tennis aces will take part in the Ischgl Trophy in two groups of three.

On 19 and 21 June 2025, Galtür will be transformed into a Mecca for mountain bike enthusiasts: the official opening of the Silva Trails marks the start of the 2025 biking season in Paznaun. A total of 15 kilometres of varied trails, pump tracks and jump lines await visitors - ideal for beginners, families and ambitious bikers.
