On 29 November 2025, global superstar Rita Ora will put on a spectacular show against a night-time mountain backdrop at the legendary Top of the Mountain Opening Concert. The concert will begin at 6 p.m. in the car park of the Silvretta cable car. The day ski pass also serves as the admission ticket. The Silvretta Arena will open for skiing on 27 November 2025.

The E-Bike World Championship for everyone, where all participants have the chance to become world champions, was held for the fifth time this year in Ischgl and Galtür. The sporting highlight was the ELITE race. Somewhat surprisingly, Austria's Lisa Schüttler won the gold medal. In the men's race, professional cyclist Daniel Geismayr from Vorarlberg triumphed.

Last Thursday, the TIROLERIN Awards were presented for the fourth time at the Imperial Palace in Innsbruck. In a festive setting, Alexander von der Thannen (Chairman of the Paznaun – Ischgl Tourism Association) and Günther Zangerl (CEO of Silvrettaseilbahn AG) accepted the award in the category "Tourism & Regional Value Creation" on behalf of the entire "Top of the Mountain Concerts" organisation team.

The E-Bike World Championships for everyone will take place from 4 to 6 September 2025 in Ischgl and Galtür. The elite category is eagerly awaiting the four-way battle between favourites Daniel Geismayr, Daniel Klemme, Philip Handl and Swiss world champion Linus Gerber. In the women's category, South Tyrolean Barbara Oberdorfer is the big favourite.

With perfect hiking weather, Galtür was transformed into a mecca for hiking enthusiasts on Saturday, 23 August 2025. This year, the 52nd Silvretta Ferwall March attracted more people than ever before to the impressive mountain world between the Silvretta and Verwall groups: 1,204 participants set off to experience the beauty of the Paznaun Alps on four varied routes – from the family-friendly 13.5-kilometre route to the challenging marathon distance of 42.2 kilometres and 1,779 metres of elevation gain.

Paznaun is kicking off the 2025/26 winter season with numerous investments in modern cable car technology, family offers and high-profile events. In Ischgl, two new 8-seater D-Line chairlifts, the international Ikon Pass partnership and the premiere of the Ischgl Trophy are attracting attention. In Kappl and See, the focus is on comfort and family friendliness – with two new lifts and a large family area. Galtür scores with an early start to cross-country skiing thanks to snow farming. The Golden Summits will enter their next round in 2025: between 30 August and 12 October, Ischgl, Galtür, Kappl and See will be transformed into a multifaceted autumn stage. Guests can look forward to gourmet markets, sporting events, music events, cattle drives and autumnal nature experiences – all set against the golden backdrop of the Tyrolean Alps.

Regional specialities, traditional crafts and authentic Tyrolean customs meet musical highlights and moments of indulgence – at the 16th Paznaun Market Day, Ischgl becomes a festival venue for all the senses.

ISCHGL. Over 800 mountain bikers from 26 countries turned up for the 30th anniversary edition of the Ischgl Ironbike, making for an impressive turnout. In one of Europe's toughest mountain bike marathon races, Austrian Hermann Pernsteiner and Italian Claudia Peretti won the extreme distance on Saturday, repeating their successes from last year. Hermann Pernsteiner and Clara Sommer also secured the Austrian championship titles at the event.

The legendary cult mountain bike race celebrates its 30th anniversary this weekend with a two-day bike event. The programme includes the Ischgl Ironbike Marathon over four distances on Saturday, 9 August. The Short Track Race and the Kids & Juniors Trophy will take place on Friday afternoon, with a total of over 40,000 euros in prize money up for grabs. What began in the 1990s as a small but ambitious race has developed over three decades into one of the toughest and best-known mountain bike marathons in Europe.
