634 competitors at the E-Bike World Championships in Ischgl

A flood of medals in Ischgl: On 14 August 2021 at the third edition of the E-Bike World Championships for Everyone, an incredible 104 World Championship titles were awarded in the categories “Everyone” and “Elite”. Fastest among the men was Daniel Klemme from Germany, and the fastest finisher in the women’s was Jaqueline Mariacher from Austria.

Double win for Switzerland: Urs Huber and Ariane Lüthi win the 26th Ischgl Ironbike Marathon

We now know the winners of the 26th Ischgl Ironbike Marathon: After 76.8 kilometres and 3,700 m elevation gain in one of Europe’s toughest mountain bike marathon races, Urs Huber in the men’s race and Ariane Lüthi in the ladies’ race claimed a place on the podium. Save the Date: The 27th Ischgl Ironbike will be held from August 5th to 6th, 2022.

New course at the 9th Silvrettarun 3000 delights participants

Challenging weather conditions, but happy runners: at the 9th Silvrettarun 3000 from 16 to 17 July 2021, 600 amateur runners and marathon pros went along a marathon route and the three trail running distances from Ischgl to Galtür, each ten kilometres shorter.

Paznaun: Regional Delight in the Alpine Mountains

In summer 2021, Paznaun guests can hike the 13th Culinary Way of St. James on six gourmet trails, and try six traditional alpine inn dishes made with local ingredients by six top chefs from Paznaun. The event will start on the 10th July.

Ski operations no longer set to commence in Ischgl this winter

After the Austrian governmental press conference which lacked any medium-term prospects for tourism, the 20/21 winter season in Ischgl has now definitively been cancelled. The committee and supervisory board at Silvrettaseilbahn AG arrived at this joint decision yesterday.

E-Bike World Cup for Everyone in Ischgl

On 14 August 2021, Ischgl will be crowning its E-Bike World Champion. The world’s biggest e-biking race will start out in two categories, ‘Everyone’ and ‘Elite’. Bikers aged 10 years and older can take part in the open E-Bike World Cup for Everyone. E-bikes are available to hire on-site. Registration is open now.
