Schwarzwasser lake

A lake straight from a fairy tale: Surrounded by a shady forest, Lake Schwarzwassersee sparkles in the Tyrolean sun. The mighty summits are reflected in the crystal-clear water and mountain roses grow along the shore.

If the water’s too cold for you to take a dip, how about taking a walk around the lake instead? Also don’t miss the barbecue facilities right by the lake!

How to get to Lake Schwarzwassersee:

• take the Silvretta cable car up to Silvretta middle station
• from there, follow the signs and the short forest road to picturesque Lake Schwarzwassersee

• way back: Follow the Walk of Lyrics back to Ischgl, passing by the suspension bridge
