PUR IN THE ADVENTURE LAND ISCHGL
At the Top of the Mountain Concert on 26 November 2016, the German band PUR, together with winter sports enthusiasts, kicks off the new ski season. If staying overnight in Paznaun and buying multi-day ski passes (following presentation of the guest card) the concert is included in the price of the ski pass
“Listen carefully”: On 26 November 2016, PUR will kick off the skiing season in Ischgl at the legendary Top of the Mountain Concert. When singer Hartmut Engler and his six bandmates Start playing the greatest hits of their career such as “Funkelperlenaugen”, “Ich lieb’ dich” and songs from the current album “Achtung”, PURe vibes prevail in the alpine lifestyle metropolis. The live concert before the mountain backdrop of the Silvretta begins at 18:00. By day, winter sports enthusiasts are drawn to the Adventureland: With the beginning of the skiing season, Ischgl is opening its 238 km of slopes from Austria all the way to Switzerland. The ski pass doubles as entrance ticket to the concert and costs 65.00 Euro per person for one day. Ski passes for two days or more are available at the regular rate and allow admission to the concert
German pop history is playing in Ischgl
The school band Crusade became Opus. The student band Opus becomes PUR. And with PUR, German pop history is made. When the band was founded in 1975 in the basement of a church, none of the members yes that they would once be among the most successful bands in Germany. In 1990 they had their first hit “Lena”, and have been a regular feature in the German charts ever since In addition to their musical skills, the six band members around front man Hartmut Engler are known for their creative costumes and spectacular live shows. Combined with a gigantic mountain backdrop, the PUR-concert on 26 November 2016 in Ischgl promises a very special start to the season 2016/17.
