Since 1995 when Elton John was the first global star to provide ‘harmony’ in Ischgl with the impressive mountains in the backdrop and in a unique winter atmosphere, the string of VIP appearances from the world of Pop has just gone on and on. Since then legendary concerts have been taking place in the biggest open-air arena in the snow, the Idalp. Year on year these mega events and Ischgl’s pistes captivate trillions of people.

At the impressive festival at Easter time and in the snow, there is a relaxed party mood and any amount of fun on the pistes for up to 20,000 fans. Entry to the concert is free from 1 p.m. with a valid lift ticket for Silvretta Arena!

The Idalp stage is the 'place to be’. Before everyone bids farewell to Ischgl’s ski pistes for the summer break, once again successful international stars hit the stage on the Idalp. With their hits they provide an unforgettable open-air experience and bring a successful ski season to a close.

SUPERB EVENT FOR MOUNTAIN BIKERS - ISCHGL IRONBIKE

Every year in August Ischgl invites you to the mountain bike highlight of the year - Ischgl Ironbike. One of the toughest mountain bike marathons in Europe. Top international pros and ambitious hobby cyclists do battle for the 20,000 Euro prize money, which makes Ischgl Ironbike the mountain bike marathon with the highest prize money in Europe.
 

RUNNING AT SPEED ON THE THREE-THOUSAND METRE MOUNTAINS - THE SILVRETTARUN 3000

The Silvrettarun 3000 provides a challenge for very fit marathon pros and ambitious, leisure-oriented runners alike, with three different routes. Participants can choose from the ‘Small’, ‘Medium’ and ‘Hard’ routes. The shortest route is 15.8 kilometres. The longest route is 43.3 km, taking courageous runners through the mountains in Paznaun up to the Kronenjoch at 3000 metres altitude – adrenaline up above 1600 metres altitude.
