Winter Activities

Ever been beside the tracks? It's off the pistes that the true adventure begins?

Nothing is more thrilling than the pure beauty of the mountains. Those who take a step out of the world of man will discover unimagined worlds of nature.

Back to the origins on touring skis

Secluded peaks, faraway valleys, nothing put silence: Ski touring is maybe the most natural way of experiencing winter sports. With our local mountain guides, you'll tour easy to challenging 3,000-metre peaks such as the legendary Piz Buin (3,312 m) or the Piz Tasna (3,179m).

Cross-country skiing in the Paznaun winter magic

Avid cross-country skiers, no matter if they search for intense endurance sports or some leisurely unwinding, will find cross-country ski trails at between 1,377 and 2,036 meters altitude through the wintery landscape of Paznaun.

Floodlights on, toboggan go!

This classic winter fun for all generations is not to be missed: in Ischgl, the longest toboggan runs in the Alps await – even under floodlights!

On snowshoes through nature

All winter hiking tours around Ischgl, Mathon, Mutta, up to the Heidelberger Lodge or the Smugglers' Tour into Switzerland are fully prepared and signposted. A snowshoe tour, why not in moonshine with fondue, also provides great moments away from all the action.

From the snow onto the ice

Those who dare venture out on skates, in the warm winter sun or very romantically under the starry night skies, will find perfect conditions for the whole family on the Ischgl natural ice rink near the town centre. More ice sports, anyone? Gear for ice hockey and curling can be rented directly on site.
