Mountain lakes & pools in Tyrol

Dive in, cool off and relax in Ischgl

‘Bathing fun without limits; or just a lovely way to cool off – surrounded by the wonderful Alpine backdrop in the Silvretta is something which is unique in and around Ischgl.

Anyone who comes to Ischgl and its neighbouring towns in summer will find themselves in the midst of the most beautiful mountains in the Tyrolean Alps. That’s not to say that there is not a superb opportunity, even at these altitudes, to take a plunge the odd time. It is so refreshing to get the stresses of the daily grind out of your system when you are in the water.

There are also opportunities to do this in the outdoor and indoor pools, as well as the new bathing lake. However, for those of you who would like to enjoy the crystal-clear waters, it’s really easy to walk to some of the loveliest mountain lakes in the Paznaun region and who knows, even test them out with your tiptoes.

Bathing & diving in – summer time is bathing time...

...especially in the popular forest pool in Ischgl. Prosperity reigns here in the summer months in the midst of an idyllic location, surrounded by the wonderful Alpine setting of the Silvretta. Indeed, it is both an adventure pool and relaxing pool at the same time, providing young and old with a place to feel great. Whoever dives into the cool waters here is sure to enjoy carefree summer days. And after a strenuous hike or an action-packed climbing tour in the Tyrolean mountains, a day spent bathing in the Silvretta forest pool in Ischgl provides just the relaxation you need.

Versatility is very much emphasised in the forest pool in Ischgl. The youngest guests will be impressed by the children’s area which has a water slide a whole 47 metres in length and a 34 m swimming pool, where they get to swim laps. There is also a large sun-lounger area, various sun decks and a panorama buffet to sate your hunger.
