Farmers museum - Walserstube

When you visit us for the first time, you really should take a short tour of the Paznaun Farmer Museum on the 1st floor.

Upstairs the ceiling may be even lower than in the downstairs inn, but you will be immersed in a peasant world as one could encounter in Paznaun until just a few decades ago.

As opposed to other museums in which treasures and precious objects are on display, with our museum we aim to give you a direct glimpse of the simple lifestyle and tough struggle for survival of the Paznaun farmers in times gone by, when there was no tourism in our valley yet.

Restaurant guests can visit the museum during opening hours at no charge.
