German chart toppers in Ischgl – on Easter Monday Silbermond will rock the world-renown Idalp stage in the middle of the ski area. At the ‘Top of the Mountain Easter Concert’ on 28th March 2016 Stefanie Kloß, Johannes and Thomas Stolle along with Andreas Nowak will set the place rocking with their new album ‘Leichtes Gepäck’ (travelling light). From 1 p.m. winter sports fans will experience a ‘symphony’ of new, energy-packed songs from the current album and the biggest hits from the band from Bautzen – ‘The best’ that Silbermond has to offer. Incidentally, fans get to enjoy some ‘travelling light’ themselves in Ischgl - at the Easter concert Silbermond will not only be presenting their eagerly anticipated fifth studio album, the concert also heralds a very special time in the Silvretta Arena Ischgl. Spring-time skiing in warmer temperatures and plenty of sunshine await winter sports fans on 238 kilometres of pistes from Austria into Switzerland – and thanks to Ischgl’s great altitude location – until 1 May 2016. Entry to the concert is included in your ski pass. A day ski pass is available from 46.50 Euro (with guest ticket from Ischgl).
Silbermond kicks everything off with a new album
With Silbermond, Ischgl is bringing one of the most successful German bands to the Idalp stage. The pop-rock band with front lady Stefanie Kloß went to the top of the charts in 2004 with their debut album ‘Verschwende deine Zeit’ and has in the intervening period sold more than five million records. The four musicians have bagged numerous gold and platinum awards in various countries with their music – and have been awarded seven Echos. Three years after their last album Silbermond are now back and are presenting their five studio album in Ischgl - ‘Leichtes Gepäck’.
