FAQ’s

Each participant races at his own risk. The organizer declines any liability before, during and after the race (including against third parties). Each participant participates at their own responsibility and bears the personal responsibility for their training and health. By participating in the races, the terms and conditions are automatically accepted. The instructions of race director, marshals, doctors and helpers must be obeyed.

Any external performance support is prohibited throughout the race. Violations of the competition rules lead to disqualification. Any deviation of the signposted route automatically leads to disqualification. Disqualifications can be pronounced in the case of irregularities or grossly unsportsmanlike conduct by the race director without any right of objection.

All races are subject to the ÖRV or UCI regulations

Weather and temperatures can change fast in high alpine terrain. Good sun, cold and rain protection is required. 

All participants receive a finisher’s gift.

Participant’s bags (clothing etc.) will be transported to the finish by the event organiser of the Alpenhaus Trophy (hand over when you are issued with your start number at the start). A maximum of 1 piece of baggage is permitted per entrant! No liability is assumed for baggage transport as well as for handing in and reclaiming baggage and storing baggage.

The medical service who are present along the route and at the finish are available free of charge for participants. The costs for any helicopter deployment is to be borne by the participants. The medical service and the competition directors reserve the right to exclude from the race, for a specific time or entirely, any participant who has inadequate equipment or who run the risk of damaging their health.

A general requirement for participation in the event is compliance with the "3G rule": vaccinated, recovered or tested! Further details on the 3G rule in Austria can be found here: Concierge for your health 

Important information about rules in Switzerland (for participants in the HARD route): at accreditation, participants of the "HARD" route must show either two vaccinations (only then does the vaccination status apply), an antigen test (valid for 48 hours) or a PCR test (valid for 72 hours)

There are plenty of spaces available close to the start and finish area.

The professional photo service Sportografwill take photos of every participant this year again. You can find all photos 1-2 days after the event on www.sportograf.com.

Should anyone have forgotten to grant consent for this photo service during registration or unintentionally have mistakenly ticked this, this can be changed again any time in the personal profile on Dataofile.

Cash and non-cash prizes will be handed out at the official winners’ ceremony. After the end of the winners’ ceremony, participants lose their right to claim cash or non-cash prizes. Participants are required to be present at the winners’ ceremony in person. Representatives can only be accepted in exceptional cases and with the prior agreement of the organisational committee.

Anyone who abandons the race is to stop at the next route post/medical station and hand in their start number there. 

The ‘MEDIUM’ and ‘HARD’ routes require several hours of endurance, heading up to 2,744m above sea level and this is particularly challenging for participants. Only participants who are completely physically healthy and well-trained can satisfy these requirements.
