Andreas Bourani

Hey Ischgl!

On 16 April 2017, Echo winner Andreas Bourani will be igniting a ‘firework of endorphins’ at the ‘Top of the Mountain Easter Concert’ which will take place at the heart of the Ischgl ski resort. Admission to the concert at 2,300m is free with a valid ski pass.

The King of German pop in Ischgl: on Easter Sunday, Andreas Bourani will be rocking the world-famous Idalp stage at the heart of the ski resort at an altitude of 2,300m. On 16 April 2017, winter sports fans will have the chance to see the German chart topper perform his current album ‘Hey’ at the ‘Top of the Mountain Easter Concert’ starting from 13:00. Whether soothing ballads or captivating anthems - when Bourani’s hits (such as ‘Auf uns’, ‘Ultraleicht’ and ‘Astronaut’) fill the Silvretta Arena, there will be no keeping fans on the ground! The 32 year old does not need any special effects; he impresses with his powerful voice and lots of emotion at his concerts. But no need to worry: he may melt women’s hearts but the snow won’t melt. Even in warmer temperatures, Ischgl’s high altitude location means that the 238 km of pistes will offer perfect snow conditions right up until 1 May 2017. Anyone wishing to travel by other means this winter can take the new ‘Ischgl Skyfly’ flying fox from the Silvrettabahn middle station down into the valley. Admission to the concert is included in the ski pass. A day ski pass is available from 48 euros (incl. Ischgl guest card).

World Cup soundtrack philosophy
3x platinum, 2x Echos: one of Germany’s most successful artists will be taking to the Idalp stage on 16 April 2017 in the form of Andreas Bourani. His trademark: dark clothing, a scuffed leather jacket and philosophical texts. An anthem to friendship, a song for the World Championships - Bourani finally broke through with his song ‘Auf uns’, storming to the top of the charts and providing an emotional soundtrack to the 2014 football World Cup in Brazil. From October, the friendly 32 year old who lives in Berlin will be helping to coach up-and-coming talent in ‘The Voice of Germany’ for the second time. And he will be taking to the stage in Ischgl in April and presenting his current album, ‘Hey’.
