The Jamtal hut is one of the biggest and most modern huts of the Alpine Club at the Silvretta. It’s located in the Jamtal valley – one of the most important lateral valleys of the Paznaun. High up at 2,164 metres above sea level, the hut attracts winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world each year. Head right into your wintery adventure: Whether it’s for a tour up to one of the surrounding three-thousand-metre summits or for a tour into the ice world of the Silvretta!

Tip: In summer, the Jamtal is wild and romantic, too!

Wiesbadener hut – the gateway to the Piz Buin

Ernest Hemingway already enjoyed the breath-taking view of the Alpine scenery from the Wiesbadener hut. All those who would like to do the same can not only look forward to the ideal location of the hut but also the host’s tips for the region. Besides the Piz Buin, the hut is surrounded by the Großer Litzner, Piz Linard and the Fluchthorn as well as their glaciers. The Wiesbadener hut is where winter fun meets relaxation.

How to get to the Wiesbadener hut

  • from the Bielerhöhe: the Wiesbadener hut can be reached via the Ochsental valley. Walking time: approx. 2 hours
