Here, water sets the tone

Vider Truja Adventure Park

…what could be nicer than a glistening mountain lake to cool your feet and re-energise!

The Tyrolean adventure park ‘Vider Truja’ at Lake Vidersee ensures recuperation for young and old! During a walk in the high Alpine landscape and right next to a small reservoir lake which has turquoise blue water, is an adventure trail which revolves around the topic of water.

The path proceeds initially via the new, spectacular adventure hiking trail from Ischgl to the Idalp (2320m). This two-hour hike covers a 7.5 kilometre, re-designed hiking trail through three Alpine vegetation zones and across suspension bridges. It is certainly quicker to get to Idalp on the Silvretta cable car. From here, it is just a five minute walk to the adventure trail in the wonderfully arranged ‘Vider Truja adventure park’.

The circular hiking trail– surrounded by the wonderful panorama of the Tyrol mountains – passes through a wonderful kingdom of water. It is not just little guests who are fascinated by the water mills, the water playground, the climbing frame and a water management system.

Snack tip - barbecue

Those who want can meet up at the end of the water adventure trail on the Vider Truja adventure trail, at one of the most beautiful barbecue areas in Ischgl. There are several benches and tables here. Barbecues are lit at the three open fire sites which have their own grill racks. Bring your own barbecue utensils with you. Wood is provided.

Barefoot path

Shoes off – feel around; perceive; sense. Weary hiker’s feet are revived on the bare foot path right at Lake Vidersee. The different surfaces of the path massage the soles of the feet, which promotes circulation and provides beneficial stimulation for the entire body via the reflex zones in the feet.

Alpenhaus mountain restaurant

After investigating the adventure trail and the bare foot path you can relax, enjoy the mountain sun on the large sun terrace and some good food in Alpenhaus mountain restaurant and in Videralp. After an all-round fulfilling day head back to Ischgl in the cable car.
