Berglisee
The small but impressive Berglisee is the destination of many hikers. Due to the beautiful location in the mountains, it invites you to linger and relax. From Mathon the path leads in about 1.5 hours up to the idyllic mountain lake, which is a special attraction. The hiking trail leads through forests, past picturesque alpine meadows and after a steep final ascent, a wonderful natural event opens up on Berglisee. Here you can take a break and enjoy the peace and quiet in the Paznaun Alps.
Swimming in a Tyrolean mountain lake - an absolute must on many hikers' summer to-do lists. The charming Berglisee is particularly suitable for this. With the fresh temperatures of the crystal-clear water, it may take a bit to overcome, but the experience is twice as worthwhile. Take your laps with a view of the Paznaun Alps and then fortify yourself at one of the barbecue areas on the lake - an experience worth remembering!
