However, when fresh snow has fallen, it is - despite the enormous efforts - not always possible to groom all of the pistes at the same time. Furthermore, in some weather and snow conditions, the fresh snow and the existing snow cover do not immediately bond together. So the fresh snow changes to snow piles (moguls) after a few slalom turns even though the piste has been properly groomed. This is not caused by insufficient ski-slope grooming.
