The trail from the church in Ischgl to the Heidelberger Hütte Alpine chalet in the Fimbatal valley takes approximately 4 hours. The 16 kilometres of the Fimbatal valley are among the most beautiful of the Paznaun area. Enjoy a hike in the mountain environment and discover various rare Alpine plants. Heidelberger Hütte Alpine chalet is just over the Swiss border and is the only German Alpine Club accommodation in Switzerland. From Switzerland the beautiful mountain valley is only accessible via the Fimbapass mountain pass at an altitude of 2,608 metres above sea level.
