Adventure Holiday & Outdoors Tyrol
‘The only opportunity to get something out of life is to jump in with all your might.’ Angelina Jolie
Adventure & OUTDOORs In Summer
‘The highest form of happiness is life with a certain amount of craziness.’
Erasmus von Rotterdam
Whether unhurried and peaceful, or if you prefer things to be a bit wild, it’s all possible in Ischgl.
For instance, you can go fishing in some of the water ways. Indeed, the crystal clear mountain lakes are for the most part too cold for bathing, so the outdoor pool provides a welcome change and a chance to cool down on hot summer days.
Up in the lofty heights of the high ropes course you get to train your coordination and concentration simultaneously. When going across narrow footbridges, suspension bridges or from tree to tree – you are of course always very well secured. The climbing garden provides a cool alternative to hiking for families with children who are a bit older. For families with children from the age of 4 in particular the climbing garden is a cool alternative to hiking. Those who want can even play a round of mini-golf in Ischgl in the evening after a hike.
Things are a bit wilder rafting and canyoning– very close to the Paznaun region there are lots of opportunities to experience these outdoor water sports. Register for water adventures at Sport Camp Tirol.
Ischgl is a winter holiday destination with sheer unlimited opportunities
There are further types of winter sports in Tyrol on offer apart from the main attractions of skiing, boarding and night life:
- With cross-country skis you can glide across the winter wonderland at your own speed – fast and athletic or simply for enjoyment.
- You can go ice skating with the whole family – doing a turn on the ice is great fun for young and old.
- Tobogganing in Ischgl also ensures first rate winter fun. You speed off downhill on special runs – also very romantic by moonlight.
