SUMMER SOUNDS IN THE SNOW AT EASTER
On 13th April, Marquess bring South-American summer feeling to Ischgl at the Top of the Mountain Easter Concert - right in the middle of the skiing area on the Idalp Open-Air Stage, situated at an altitude of 2,300 metres.
This year, Easter will be a summer festival in Ischgl. Chart toppers "Marquess" will guarantee an incomparable South-American concert experience at the legendary Top of the Mountain concert on Easter Monday, 13th April 2009. From around 2pm the band will be playing their summer hits, such as "Vayamos compañeros" or "El Temperamento", on the Idalp Open Air Stage right in the middle of the skiing area. Particularly attractive: as always, entrance to the concert is free with a valid lift pass.
Two top events in the Silvretta Arena
For the first time, the Top of the Mountain Easter Concert is taking place together with the Warsteiner Snowshow Finale. Until April, ski and snowboard enthusiasts can record their own winter video and upload it to www.snow-show.tv. Internet users choose the best video, which will then receive an award on 13th April at 1pm on the Idalp, right in the middle of the Ischgl skiing area. The winner can look forward to a Suzuki Grand Vitara limited. After the Warsteiner Snowshow award ceremony, Marquess will ensure catchy tunes and good feeling among the 20,000 expectant fans. Not for nothing has the rock and pop industry considered the stage in the Silvretta Arena "the place to be" for more than 10 years. Stars such as Rod Stewart, Sting, Tina Turner and Elton John were impressed by the concerts on the stage with the incomparable mountain backdrop. And for all the music mad ski and snowboard freaks this is certainly true. Ischgl combines international concert events with a perfect skiing area in a way that no other ski resort in the Alps can match. 235 kilometres of slopes, reaching into Samnaun in Switzerland, continue to offer the perfect conditions for boundless skiing pleasure until 3rd May 2009.
