Bike Classes for Women in Ischgl
Season 2008 is the inaugural season in Ischgl for the hot new discipline of lady biking. Special courses are now available for women to prepare them for rides in rough terrain. The focus is on driving techniques and on gaining first experiences on the single trails.
Riding a bicycle should not be an issue, however, switching from riding on the street to mastering rough terrain takes a high level of skill – and that is true for both, men and women. As of season 2008, the Ischgl Bike Academy will be offering dedicated bike classes for women. These Lady-Bike-Weekends take into account the expectations and wishes women brought up in co-ed driving technique trainings of the past.
Bike classes for ladies in Ischgl – focal points:

What is important for women’s mountain bike training is to keep the focus on enjoyable biking. Your fitness and overall physical condition will definitely be boosted during a women’s bike weekend, but there is no pressure to perform or any sense of competition among the group. The programme for ladies has been organized in such a manner that you will make progress quickly. You will soon be able to ride in rough terrain, making your mountain bike vacation in Ischgl an adventure of a lifetime.
Mountain biking is no longer dominated by men. Professional female bikers and ambitious woman sports bikers have clearly demonstrated at races in all disciplines that women are just as willing to give it their all, that they work just as hard toward their goals and that they can be just as successful as the men. However, the road into the highly skilled mid level or towards the top in mountain biking is much tougher for girls. The bike classes for women in Ischgl have been developed specifically to address this issue.
