Refreshments
There will be a total of seven refreshment zones. These will
be stocked with fruit, energy bars and drinks (GATORADE), mineral water
(VÖSLAUER), soft drinks, sweets, etc.
1) Larein (short track); km 10 at 1,600 m
2) 2) Ischgl village (intermediate + long track); km 27 at 1,400 m = FZ/TAZ
3) FZ/TAZ ONLY: Idalpe (intermediate + long track); km 35 at 2.300 m
4) Junction of the intermediate/long tracks; km 36 at 2,500 m = FZ/TAZ
5) Samnaun village (long track), km 57 at 1,860 m = FZ/TAZ
6) Zollhütte Zeblasjoch (long track), km 63 at 2,615 m = FZ/TAZ
7) Refreshments at the finish
The following UCI ruling applies to licensed riders for refreshment / technical assistance zones: All of the refreshment zones are also technical assistance zones. This means:
FOOD ZONES
Are marked with "Start" and "End".
You are only allowed to drink and take refreshment in these zones.
While you are consuming your refreshments, no contact is permitted between coaches and riders.
Coaches are not permitted to position drinking bottles on the bikes.
Drinking bottles must be handed to riders.
Riders are not allowed to be "fed".
Coaches are not permitted to run alongside the riders when handing
them refreshments.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ZONES
Everything may be repaired or exchanged in the TAZ with the exception
of the frames.
The repairs or exchange of replacement parts may be carried out by the
rider or a team colleague, or by a mechanic or coach.
Replacement parts and tools for repairs must remain in the TAZ.
Bikes may not be exchanged and riders must have their original front
numbers when they reach the finish.
The repair work must not endanger or obstruct other cyclists who are
riding through the zones
