Funitel Silvrettabahn in Tyrol: The modern cable-car is situated in Ischgl’s town centre and transports you up the Idalp to 2320 meters above sea level within just a few minutes.
Together with the Fimba and Pardatschgratbahn, the Funitel Silvrettabahn in Tyrol forms the stable backbone of the Silvretta Arena’s transport system. With the Funitel Silvrettabahn more than 3000 people can be transported from Ischgl up to the top of the Idalp within an hour.

The Funitels have extremely high wind stability and, thanks to excellent suspension, can transport large passenger numbers safely and comfortably. The special thing about the system is the combination of two parallel running cables which the cars are attached to. The Funitel Silvrettabahn safely and swiftly transports around 1,400 000 passengers per year to the middle and top stations of the Silvrettabahn. Each car has the capacity to hold around 18 people. Waiting times in Ischgl have been almost eliminated thanks to the high people-transport capacity.
